About Gather Chester 60+

The group was set up for people aged 60 and over, living in the Chester, Cheshire, North Wales and Wirral areas because it can be hard when you are older and/or retired to know where to go to meet other people of a similar age and interests. To join, fill in the questionnaire, provide a head and shoulders photograph of yourself so that the host and other members can recognise you at events, pay a one-off fee of £10, either by bank transfer to Gather Chester 60+, account 39121046, sort code 60-40-08, or by cash at one of our regular coffee mornings on a Saturday at 11.00 am at Pret a Manger in Chester. Our site will then help you to mix and socialise with other members by joining in with the published events where every member is encouraged to put on at least one event each year. So if there is something you've been wanting to do but have no one to do it with, now is your chance to put it on the site and interested members will RSVP. Everyone says we are a friendly bunch so come on and join in. You will be made very welcome.
