Monthly Dressmakers Meeting ↻ Quarterly Event

Do you sew? Come to our monthly London Dressmakers Club meetings. We meet up to do a bit of hand sewing, exchange sewing tips and share project notes with other people who love to sew!
This meetup is very informal and you are very welcome to arrive and leave whenever suits you. We are usually there until at least 8pm, occasionally longer.
The meetings are like a sewing circle, a great opportunity to connect with others who enjoy dressmaking. You may want to bring a project to hand sew or baste, cut out paper patterns, mark up fabric or anything else that’s easily done by hand including other crafts.
If you are not that far along: if you want you could bring a magazine or sewing book, a dress pattern, photos of examples, scraps of material – anything to show the kinds of things you want to make. You’re in the right place if you want some advice: other members are bound to have ideas of what to try, or where to look for answers.
Attendee fee is £2 per meeting unless you paid annual membership. Please pay in cash when you get there, thank you. The fee goes towards site costs and enables us to keep the group running.
The meeting frequency is monthly: on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday in the fourth week. We change the weekday so anyone with prior commitments has the chance to attend the other two. So month 1 in a quarter is on Tues, month 2 is Wed, and month 3 on Thursday. Hope that makes sense.
